826 Valencia is proud to announce its Fifth Annual Comedy Night fundraiser: An Evening of a Thousand Scowls, featuring:

Janeane Garofalo (actress, activist and comedian who has starred in many films including Reality Bites, The Truth About Cats and Dogs, and Wonderland)

Daniel Handler (aka “Lemony Snicket” and author of A Series of Unfortunate Events and Adverbs)

Al Madrigal (award-winning Bay Area comedian featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Ortegas)

Patton Oswalt (actor and stand-up comedian as seen on HBO and Comedy Central, Seinfeld and King of Queens)

Tig (stand-up comedian as seen on Comedy Central and Jimmy Kimmel Live), Jasper Redd (stand-up comedian who has appeared on Comedy Central and Last Call with Carson Daly)

Nick Swardson (actor and stand-up comedian featured on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn and star of the upcoming films Benchwarmers and Suckaz)

Sheng Wang (stand-up comedian who performs at numerous Bay Area comedy clubs) and Brent Weinbach (as seen on Comedy Central and at the San Francisco Sketchfest)

This year’s event will be held at the Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium at 8:00 PM (doors are at 7:00 PM). 18 and over please.
