Cartooning with Students reception

This spring, 826 Valencia, local artists, and our super students combined forces to unearth a new generation of comic heroes, villains, and crazy characters. Through a series of workshops and special editions of the Straight Up News and the Bay-farer, students have polished comic and cartoon-themed artwork.

Now their work is on exhibit at the Cartoon Art Museum! Please join in celebrating our super students with food, drinks, games, artist signings, and whole lot of fun, at the opening-night reception, tonight, from 6 to 8 p.m.

If you can't make it, don't worry—the students' work will be on display from July 1st through September 24th.
