826 Valencia is very proud to announce the debut issue of our only student newspaper, the 826 Valencia Bay-farer! Founded and written by after school drop-in tutoring students from all over the city, the Bay-farer journalists provide hard-hitting interviews, in-depth book reviews, exposes of mysterious no-eyed fish, investigations into the true nature of junk food, and testimonials to the dreams and accomplishments of their fellow 826 students. Copies will be avaliable in the pirate store as of Friday, November 18. Let us be your news source for all things critical to kids today!

The Bay-farer announces a call for contributions! We welcome all students who want to learn more about journalism and see their work in print.
