Jessica Case, an 8th grade teacher at Everett Middle School, is the 826 Valencia teacher of the month for March. Ms. Case teaches language arts at Everett, where some of her students describe her as "dedicated, funny, serious and confident." She is bilingual, teaching in English and Spanish.

Ms. Case has been at Everett for two years, and in that time has spearheaded a variety of activities: She has acted as the staff sponsor at Everett's Peace Day, led the first annual Everett Middle School Dance Competition, is the student government sponsor and has facilitated the student talent shows.

Ms. Case has also recently started hosting a Podcasting class, a radio show about Everett which is being broadcast on the Internet.

"She's dedicated to her students," a nominee wrote. "Even though she can be tough sometimes, all the kids love her."
