We’re thrilled to announce that Daniela Bazán will be joining us through the end of this school year as the major component of her San Francisco Urban Service Project (www.sfusp.org). Her background is in Spanish and Latin American studies and she minored in History. After working on a movie and social justice project with high school students, she decided that she would like more experience working with students in the schools. She is working with us on our in-schools projects, in our satellite Writers’ Room at Everett Middle School, and helping with our Young Authors’ project at Wallenberg Alternative High School this year before she enters her PhD. in Ethnic Studies at UC Berkeley.
