Congratulations to Erin Enderlin, our 826 Valencia teacher of the month winner for November. Ms. Enderlin is a fourth grade teacher at George Moscone School, where her students describe her as "incredible" and "the best teacher" they've had.
Ms. Enderlin has been in the classroom at Moscone for six years, and has been teaching for 23 years. At Moscone, she's engaged her fourth graders in a number of dynamic classroom projects, as well as taken them on educational out-of-class field trips. She carefully monitors students' progress and offers them extra support when they need it, including after school support in the language arts.
One of the projects that Ms. Enderlin facilitated was a student newspaper, created primarily for her class, teaching students about the basics of journalism. The newspaper included a "Critics' Corner" and "Awesome Ad" section.
We are lucky to have a teacher like Erin Enderlin in our Mission neighborhood and we know that she will continue to offer her expert support and advice to all of the students who enter her door.
Congratulations again to Erin Enderlin, truly deserving of this award!
