Do you have to use a razor on that delicate space between nose and lip to keep things clean? Are you interested in chucking that filthy stinking razor in the bin? Do you have it in you to farm your upper-lip follicles?

We are looking for volunteers to sign up to be growers for our Mustache-a-Thon. Beginning April 23rd and running through May, we need 20 - or more - wonderful folks to cultivate a 'stache. Are we mad? No. We want you to nurture and tend to a mustache for the duration of the competition, to tell all your friends and family that you're doing it to raise money for 826, and to ask them to sponsor you in your hirsute pursuits... Each week there'll be free beer in a Mission bar, so that you can meet up with your fellow farmers, share tips and tricks, meet bona fide 'stache meisters and be inspired, and have a photograph taken of you and your 'stache. These photos will go up on our website so that everyone can track your progress, and sponsor those mustaches they most admire. And every so often there'll be other events to participate in, such as a 'stache-themed trivia night, and a huge final party where we find out who the mustache champion is. We're hoping that each 'stache-farmer will commit to raising at least $500 over the 6 weeks. Don't be daunted - we have faith in your follicles, and you should too. And what's more, we'll help you every millimeter of the way...
