Our first annual community festival is happening this weekend. Join us on Sunday to kick off the school year with a moonbounce, a climbing wall, student readings, live performances, and a dunk tank where you can soak your favorite author, teacher, or 8/26 staffer. Ever wanted to dunk Dave Eggers, Michelle Tea, Stephen Elliott, Beth Lisick, or 826 Programs staff Erin Neeley and Jory John? Now's your chance!
You can while away the afternoon watching Everett Middle School's dance troop, eating delicious homemade foods, or participating in a variety of arts and crafts projects. It's going to be a blast.
Stop by with your families and friends from 1- 4 PM at the Mission Playground (Valencia between 19th and 20th) this Sunday, the 26th of August, and celebrate 5 years of student acheivement and volunteer dedication.

We recommend you come via BART, MUNI, bike, or foot, as parking might not be easy. Hope to see you there!
