On Thursday, December 13, we held our annual holiday party here in the tutoring lab. A five-member brass band, including dedicated tutor Jeff Johnson, showed up to play a variety of holiday-themed songs. Santa made a surprise visit and was quickly swamped by young students, who also took part in writing letters to the North Pole. Our students also got their faces painted -- designs included everything from spiders to butterflies to more traditional holiday fare -- and they gobbled up the heaps of food brought in by parents. There was music, feasting, and all around good cheer at this year's holiday celebration. Thank you to everyone who helped out.
