Store Window Display Artist Reception
Join us as we celebrate Lynn Rubenzer on her compelling new installation, The Trapeze Artist. After four years of hard work, this ambitious painting is unveiled for the very first time in the window of the pirate store. In the words of the artist, “The Trapeze Artist enters a world where courage trumps fear, curiosity melts envy, and illusions lift like linen curtains in a strong levanter breeze.”

Featuring: Bobby Lee (cast member of MADtv), TIG Notaro (Comedy Central Presents TIG, The Sarah Silverman Program, Premium Blend) Al Madrigal (Shorties Watching Shorties, Premium Blend and Welcome to the Captain), Jonathan Coulton (folk rock singer-songwriter and Contributing Troubadour at Popular Science), and Ian Edwards (cast member of MTV’s Punk’d and regular performer at L.A.’s Laugh Factory), plus additional guests to be announced!
