Field Trip Diary
Northgate High School Visits 826 To Create a Literary Journal

Students from Natalie Moore's 11th grade honors English class visited us, today, to find out how to create a literary journal. Together, we worked on editing and polishing preexisting pieces of writing, as well as creating original essays and stories on site. At the end of the trip, students read from their work and received generous applause from their classmates and our tutors.

One of the writers, a student named Jonah, had this to offer about the event: "My experience there today was nothing less than stellar. The environment you people have created is rather beautiful and inspires the writer within me (and I'm sure many others too). Thanks for everything."

Ms. Moore's class will visit us in a couple weeks to finish binding their work. After that, you will be able to find copies of their journal in our pirate store.
