The Galileo High School project was my first experience tutoring with 826. I had the romantic notion that I was going to inspire the students, but in fact they were far more inspirational to me than I was to them. Their stories were bold and courageous and insightful, and their dedication to making their writing better was truly admirable. I left each session with a fresh sense of wonder. What a fabulous experience!
