This spring, 826 Valencia, local artists, and our super students combined forces to unearth a new generation of comic heroes, villains, and crazy characters. Through a series of workshops and special editions of the Straight Up News and the Bay-farer, students have polished comic and cartoon-themed artwork.

Their work will be on exhibit at the Cartoon Art Museum this summer! Please join us on July 6th, from 6 to 8 pm, to celebrate our super students with food, drinks, games, artist signings, and a whole lot of fun with an opening-night reception.

If you can't make it, don't worry—the students' work will be on display from July 1st through September 24th.
