Believe me when I start off by writing that I honestly miss the fog, one-way streets, and unique pirate stores/writing centers. And it's only been a month. Yes, college is quite another world—full of strange things like laundry cards and dining hall food. Despite these things that make up my daily life, I am adjusting to living away from my home in San Francisco.
My first week here included getting lost on the way to class, confusion in my book lists, and extreme freshman anxiety. However, I soon became used to the idea of reading tons of books every night and I am even feeling like some of the topics discussed in class are beginning to sink in. Like I said, college is a strange place but I am actually learning here.
I have only been here a month, but I know that this experience will be worth it. After all, I have met great people and I have already reached my fifteen pound quota. This experience is something I will never forget. This is only the beginning but it is definitely not the end.
