Clouds 1
by Austin Lewis, age 13, Vista IHS
Austin's poem 'Clouds 1' has been chosen for publication in the upcoming edition of the 826 Quarterly
The green grass tickles the back of my legs
A butterfly flits in the flowers
A bee buzzes lazily along, stopping now and again
The clouds roll by, unhurried,
Like an elephant that has all the time in the world
A face here, a horse there
Now a crocodile
Now a bird
A fish, a ship
Things all shapes and sizes,
A big mural in the sky.
