Dancing to the Rhythm of Words (Ages 9-13)

In this workshop, students will write about a vivid memory, an unexpected turn of events, or a person who means a lot to them. In collaboration with the choreographer and dancers of Liss Fain Dance, students will then create movement to go with their story and perform it as their words are read aloud.This workshop is great for students who are looking for new and exciting ways to bring their stories to life.

This a one-day workshop happening on Sunday, February 22nd.

After registering, staff will reach out to offer a spot depending on eligibility and availability in the program. Our workshops are open to anyone, but we do give priority to SFUSD students with socio-economic need and hold spaces for students enrolled in our other programs.
