Fantasy Sports (Ages 9-13) (CLASS FULL)

Love sports? Love fantasy writing? Ever wish the sports you love were inclusive and competitive for your favorite mythological creatures? Then, you’ve found the right workshop! In this three week workshop series, students will imagine a fictional sport for fantastic beings (e.g. dragons, gnomes, fairies), and then create rules, regulations, and statistics for that sport. By the final class, they will write a short newspaper article about the championship game.
This a three-week workshop happening on Sundays February 22nd, March 1st, and March 8th 10am-12pm.

After registering, staff will reach out to offer a spot depending on eligibility and availability in the program. Our workshops are open to anyone, but we do give priority to SFUSD students with socio-economic need and hold spaces for students enrolled in our other programs.
