Poetry Build: 826 Valencia + City Bookworms (Ages 8-11)

Create poetry and bring it to life on the walls of a Little Free Library to be installed in San Francisco! In this workshop, students will have the opportunity to use their hands to both craft original poetry and physically assemble Little Free Libraries. The poems written during this workshop will be incorporated into the design of the mini free-standing libraries. They could be painted onto the library walls or put inside, shared, and ready to be borrowed by anyone walking by!

After registering, staff will reach out to offer a spot depending on eligibility and availability in the program. Our workshops are open to anyone, but we do give priority to SFUSD students with socio-economic need and hold spaces for students enrolled in our other programs.
