Writing & Publishing Apprentices(Ages 13-18)
Try a college-style workshopping class! Be a published writer!
Join us for a nine-session writing workshop brought to you by 826 Valencia. In this workshop, a group of writers aged 13–18, gather to spend a semester honing their craft. With support from their peers and tutors, students will learn new writing techniques, practice literary analysis, and workshop a single piece to be featured in our end-of-semester publication.
This workshop will take place at the Women’s Building (3543 18th St #8, San Francisco, CA 94110)
This a nine-week workshop and students are required to attend all dates:
2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28

After registering, staff will reach out to offer a spot depending on eligibility and availability in the program. Our workshops are open to anyone, but we do give priority to SFUSD students with socio-economic need and hold spaces for students enrolled in our other programs.
