On September 20, 2013, 826 Valencia held our latest 100 Club party, celebrating volunteers who contributed significant amounts of time to the organization. Volunteers, interns, and staff participated in a cake walk, a classic basketball game of HORSE, and an obstacle-laden race in the James Lick Middle School gym. Patxi’s generously provided the pizza while 826 staff provided the fun with a variety of games and prizes.
The night ended with old sports trophies given to each volunteer commemorating their time at 826 Valencia. Executive Director Bita Nazarian thanked every volunteer and passed out trophies to our worthy volunteers. We are grateful for all the volunteers who give their time to make 826 Valencia programs excellent. We look forward to many more volunteer celebrations to come!
