Congrats to Ms. Rosa Mana, our February Teacher of the Month

We would like to extend a hearty congratulations to our February Teacher of the Month, Rosa Mana of Bryant Elementary School in San Francisco. Ms. Mana teaches fifth grade ELD at Bryant and has taught there for four years.

Prior to teaching fifth grade, Ms. Mana taught second grade at Bryant. One of her former students, Andy Hernandez, wrote to us about how much he learned from Ms. Mana in second grade–reading books like Captain Underpants, playing math games, learning how to round up, and going on field trips. Andy said, “She was a splendid teacher.” Read more about our teacher of the month.

Joan Boyle, a parent volunteer at Bryant wrote, “Rosa is a loving teacher who has high expectations of her students. She is a firm disciplinarian and reminds the students constantly that they are there to learn and that learning can be fun. . . . She is a thoughtful, caring teacher. Rosa’s students love her and respect her.”

Ms. Mana is a loving and inspiring teacher who makes an impact at Bryant. To quote Andy, she is a splendid teacher, and we are honored to celebrate her work, her talent, and her commitment by awarding her a certificate and $1500 to spend as she desires.
