826 Valencia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting under-resourced students ages six to eighteen with their creative and expository writing skills and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.
There were many moments that made us proud in the 2024-2025 school year. All of them had one thing in common: the voices of our students amplified and heard on every page and every stage across the city. 🌉 Here’s our top 10!
To celebrate National Poetry Month, our students’ poems were displayed on posters at pizza shops and bookstores across the city, and on coffee sleeves at partner coffee shops. They also performed at Ritual Coffee Roasters!
