Today marks the end of National Book Month. 📚 And what a month it was! We joined the conversation with authors and longtime 826 Valencia supporters Daniel Handler and Andrew Sean Greer, hosted by our friends at City Arts & Lectures. Later, we celebrated Banned Books Week with a student performance in collaboration with Books Not Bans at their event Read the Room: A Celebration of Books. And we ended the month with our very first Open Mic Night AND our yearly collaboration with Litquake: the 826 Valencia Quarterly release party! This year, we also had a student perform at Manny’s.
