Launched in October 2000, Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families, and communities. Students from our After-School Tutoring Programs at our Mission and Mission Bay Centers joined the Lightbulb Challenge for this special occasion, in partnership with the San Francisco Department of Children, Youth & Their Families, celebrating how we keep the lights on to write and grow after school. 💡
