As you look out of the window, you notice that it’s raining. You decide to make yourself comfortable in your bed by grabbing a pillow and a blanket. While lying there, you get the idea of building a fort. You start to look for pillows all around the house and gather every single one, including couch cushions, bed pillows, and blankets. After a while, your fort takes up the entire living room, and you even add umbrellas and lamps to hold up the blankets. Although you haven’t gone inside yet, you decide to test out the fort for the first time. As you walk into the fort, you’re surprised by how large and spacious it is. You create a room for all of your plushies and add many rooms, each with its unique touch. Eventually, there is no more space for rooms. Your fort isn’t a fort anymore, it’s a castle! It reminds you of when you were little and made little forts in your room. All of your hard work has paid off! Your pet comes into your fort and starts looking around. You realize that the fort is practically a whole kingdom to your pet since it is smaller than you. Suddenly you hear a slight rumbling. Your pet has accidentally bumped into something! The rumbling stops, and you feel relieved that your fort has not collapsed. You walk into one of the rooms. This room is dark, calm, and soft. You lay down and look up at the ceiling.
The rain stops. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
