Sendy is from San Diego, California and moved to the Bay Area for art school. She graduated from California College of the Arts with a BFA in Illustration. She is an illustrator, designer, and children’s book author. She released her first picture book Yenebi’s Drive to School with Chronicle Books in 2023. In her free time she is a reality t.v. enthusiast, amateur birder, and dog mom to her son Pepe.
